The 10 secret marks the judges won't tell you about - Creating an unfair advantage in a competitive world

Louise Turner is chief wordsmith at Wordsmiths Unlimited and Awards Writers. She holds a Guinness World Record and won a clutch of awards for her own work before leaving her corporate career to start the business in 2011.

In the last five years, 80% of the award entries the team has written have been shortlisted and around half of those have scooped a prize. These figures are maintained because Louise likes saying no – she’ll tell you all about why if you ask!

In 2017 Louise wrote a guide to creating winning award entries for the NHS and has run several training courses for them since. Clients include a mobile phone network, high street retail names, utilities and local councils as well as small businesses. The team has written winning international, national, regional and local awards.
